- Epidermal Cysts - Prone to leaving permanent scars, epidermal cysts are soft and filled with whitish pus that grows deeper into the skin. The larger cysts are very painful.
- Acne cosmetica - Small rashes, which are a bit pinkish in color and itch, developing on forehead, cheeks and chin. It is caused by cosmetics and hence it is important for you to look for products that are non-comedogenic.
- Dermatitis (or Eczema) - They are red and swollen and have an itching effect. Atopic dermatitis, chronic dermatitis, and Contact dermatitis are three different types of dermatitis. The first leads to hay fever-type allergies and asthma in early childhood. The second one affects hands, neck, and eyelids, whereby these areas become darker. The third one is due to contact with allergens or irritants.
- Rosacea – The skin flushes and blushes, especially the chest, face, and neck, and is more common with Caucasians over 30 years of age. It leads to the appearance of reddish humps that look oily.

- Keratosis Pilaris – The back of the arms, buttocks, shoulders and front thighs are seen to develop small reddish patches that are hard. This is a common one among teenagers and can also occur on your cheeks.
- Peri-Oral Dermatitis – Tender red spots that itch, develops around the mouth of women between 20 to 30 years of age. The chin, cheeks, and upper lips tend to become dry and reddish.
