Benzoyl Peroxide
During the first 3 weeks you are using benzoyl peroxide, your skin may become irritated and your acne may seem to get worse rather than better. This condition is called contact dermatitis (red, dry, itchy skin) due to irritation or allergy. It may well need to be treated with a topical steroid cream. It is far from ideal if you need to supplement one skin care treatment with another! Users experiencing such a reaction should check with your health care professional if your skin problem has not improved within 4 to 6 weeks,

Such is the strength of this product that bleaching of clothing may occur. Make sure benzoyl peroxide has completely dried before the treated skin touches clothes or bedding.
